STORY
"The Making of Self Portrait with Cat" pictures Regina Maria Möller dressed in an "embodiment" garment made of bedsheets and gauze. This setting includes for example a female tailor dummy in the body height of Regina Maria Möller, which she uses for "embodiment" productions. And on the right hand side you see a detail of another work by Möller "Cat - Tree", which is used here to display a vase with flower arrangement.
"Self Portrait with Cat" #1 was exhibited together with the "embodiment" garment under the title "...es kratzt, beißt und zwickt" in the group exhibition "Reflecting Fashion. Kunst und Mode seit der Moderne", mumok / Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig, Vienna. Curators: Susanne Neuburger, Barbara Rüdiger.
