STORY

1994 Regina Maria Möller founded the magazine regina – an artwork and artistic research project in a printed matter format. This magazine adapts mainstream lifestyle and fashion magazine formats and their notions of women’s everyday life. It includes the familiar sections – such as fashion, work, home & garden, architecture, recipes, partnerships, among others – but through subtle shifts, it undermines the embedded constructions of gender roles and shifts the focus towards the intricate weave between human and non-human livings - the environment at large.

It is a platform sampling a diversity of voices – unusual and unexpected in that very context.

regina demonstrates an interaction between art, comic and the everyday. Throughout the production process, which involves the expertise of professionals that come from various disciplines, regina creates a platform for an interdisciplinary discourse.
